Helping Hands is based in Gastonia NC. Our primary service area includes Gastonia, Belmont, Mt. Holly, Cramerton, Ranlo, Dallas and Bessemer City. We also service Lake Wylie, SC. We offer limited service to areas further out, such as Stanley, Alexis, High Shoals, Cherryville and Kings Mountain in NC, and the Clover area of SC. Click here to view a map of our service area.
How much will it cost to clean my home?
To determine this, we must first see your home. Give us a call to schedule a free estimate. We price each job individually, so we can offer you the most competitive rates. In addition to the square footage of the home, we must also consider factors such as number of adults, children, and pets in the home, current level of maintenance, etc.
Who will be cleaning my home?
We choose our employees carefully. We utilize a variety of tools such as criminal background checks, drug testing and previous work verification to aid us in our selection. We want you to have the best service providers, and we want the best employees. You can feel confident knowing each cleaning team is supervised, trained, bonded and insured.
How many people will be cleaning my home?
Typically, we work in teams of three. The team is composed of one supervisor and two team mates. On occasion we may choose to dispatch a two or four person crew if we feel it will better suit the job.
Do you furnish the cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes. We will provide all of the supplies and equipment needed to perform your cleanings. We have found this to be beneficial to both the homeowner and our company. You never need to restock supplies or repair equipment. We can work with chemicals and equipment that we are familiar with and know how to use safely.
How often should I have my home cleaned?
That decision is really up to you. Use us as much or as little as you like. Very active households (adults, children and pets) should consider weekly cleanings. Less active households may find cleanings every 2 weeks to be sufficient. In some cases, visits every 4 weeks may be enough. We also offer One-time cleanings, Deep cleanings, and special requests.
Do you offer a guarantee?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your cleaning, contact the office within 24 hours of your cleaning. We will be happy to listen to your concerns and take the necessary action to correct the situation.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No. You are never obligated to use our service. We rely on consistent, quality service to maintain our customers.
Will I have a set cleaning day?
Yes. After your initial Deep Cleaning you will be set up on a regular cleaning schedule. (For example: every Wednesday, or every other Tuesday) Your regular cleaning day will be determined based on the frequency of cleaning and the location of you home.
Will I have a set cleaning time?
No. We often schedule Deep Cleanings for early morning, but arrival times for Routine Cleanings are not set. Our arrive time will vary from visit to visit. Crews may arrive as early as 8:00am and as late as 4:00pm. Our clients change, our routes change, and we won't rush through one house to get to another at a set time.
Do I need to be home on cleaning day?
No. Most customers give us a key so we may enter their homes regardless of their schedule. You are welcome to be home during your cleaning, but please remember that our arrival times will vary from visit to visit. If you would rather not give us a key, we can discuss other arrangements to enter your home. Please note, you may be subject to a small fee if we are unable gain entry to your house on your scheduled cleaning day.
How do I pay for your service?
We accept cash and checks. Payment is due the day of service, Most customers leave a check for us on the day of their cleaning. Other payment options are available if requested.
How can I get the most for my money?
We can do a better job cleaning when a home is "picked up" and straightened prior to our arrival. It makes it easier for us to get to all the areas that need our attention.
Do you have an inclement weather policy?
Yes. In the event of severe weather, we will follow the lead of Gaston County Schools. When they are closed or delayed for bad weather, we will also be closed or delayed.
